Ups-and-Downs

I'm not in a very good mood right now.  Yesterday was my two-month check up and everything was going well until that mean ol' nurse brought out those nasty needles.  Before she came in though, I met with the doctor.   When he walked in the room, I was standing on the examining table with some balance support from mom.  The doctor was impressed with how well I can support my own weight with my legs already.  He asked mommy is she was sure I am only two months old because babies usually don't start doing this until around 4 months of age.  He said I may go straight to walking and bypass crawling all together based on what he was seeing.  To tell you the truth, I don't like sitting or laying down very much like normal babies.  I much rather be doing ups-and-downs.  That is where I stand up then sit down repeatedly until I am ready to move on to the next thing to keep me occupied.  The rest of my appointment went well, like I said, until the nurse came in.  She is a big lady.  Much bigger than my mommy.  She had mommy lay me down on the table and hold my arms.  I thought it was a game until I felt a prick in my thigh, then another one and another one.  I cried so hard.  My face got all red and scrunched up and I CRIED.  After I settled down a little mommy let me eat and that made me feel better.  I got drunk on milk and fell asleep.  Sleep is all I want to do right now though because my legs don't hurt when I am asleep.  Needless to say, I have to take a break from my ups-and-downs because my muscles hurt, but believe me, I will be back at it as soon as I can.
