Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!  Today Mommy made a big Thanksgiving feast while daddy and I watched football.  She had everything:  Spiced Sweet Potato Casserole, Cranberry Sauce, Triple Corn Spoon Bread, Texas Rolls, Cornbread Stuffing, fresh green beans, gravy, and an Oven Roasted Turkey Breast from Honey Baked Ham.  For dessert she made a pumpkin pie with whipped topping.    This is me enjoying my pureed sweet potatoes.  They were yummy.

Today we gave thanks for being able to have all of this food on our table.  We gave thanks for our little family sitting around the table together and we gave thanks for our extended family and friends who we love and love us in return.  Gobble Gobble!

Well we are back from our Thanksgiving trip to Sylacauga, AL to visit with Charlotte's Mom and family. They are really good folks. The food was good as Charlotte cooked nearly everything except the smoked turkey. Her brother Larry smoked the bird. Sophia you would have loved the canberry salad as it was yummy. The drive was long but no delays. Driving seems harder the older you get. It takes nearly a whole day just to get the kinks out once you get home. Anyway little one we missed you and thought about you on Turkey day. We remembered you and Katrina also Son and hoped you all had a great day.

Sophia wipe your face or the sweet potatoes will harden on your pretty little face. After all little girls should always be pretty and not messy like boys.

Love from Pappy and Neenee
