walking poll
The results from the crawling poll: Will I be crawling before the New Year? One person said that I would be crawling before New Years, one said that it wouldn't be quite yet and one person said that it would be before Christmas. Well, I started crawling on Christmas Eve so the person who voted for 'Before Christmas' guessed it right. Now for a new poll. It's going to be a quick one. Will I start walking before Spring? Get your vote in. There's only 8 days left before Spring.
Later in the afternoon mommy and I took a trip to an area of Seattle called Ballard. She found a Leap Frog Activity Table on Craig's List that she bought for me and we went to the person's house to pick it up. It is just the right height for me to stand and play with all of the levers and buttons. It will help me learn my colors, numbers and letters and I can sing along with the silly songs too.
I like to stand while I play. As a matter of fact, just last night after daddy got home from work the three of us were playing with my toys in the living room. Well, mommy and daddy were playing with my toys. I was standing up next to the laundry basket and pulling out all of the clothes that mommy had just folded. This is my new favorite pastime. I decided that I wanted to go see mommy and I let go of the laundry basket and took one wobbly step and then another towards her. I fell right into her arms, but I took my first two solo steps towards walking on my own! Mommy keeps saying I will be walking on my own before Spring. That's less than two weeks away. We'll see if I can make it. I am awfully close. Then there will be no stopping me.

Squeal, Pucker, Twirl, Ride
Here's a new movie of my adventures inside the past couple of days while waiting spring to come. If you can't tell, I'm trying my first piece of lemon in one of the scenes. Mommy is behind the camera most of the time and our cat Rags makes a brief appearance. Hope you enjoy.
Boy I can't wait for warmer weather so we can make some good outdoor movies.
