Super Bowl Play Date

This is my friend Willie.  He is showing me how to play music with his toy.  Daddy, Mommy and I went to his house on Super Bowl Sunday.  Willie and I played while our parents watched the game and visited.  We had a lot of fun.  Willie has two older sisters who played with us.  All four of us crawled around on the floor and chased each other.  They made me giggle.
Not so sure that I wanted to crawl through.  So I didn't.

See what a big girl I am?

See what a big girl I am?  I can pull up to standing all by myself.  I don't even hardly put out any effort any more.  I stand, I sit, I stand, I fall, I crawl, I stand, I sit, I roll, I stand.  Sometimes I even forget to hold on when I am standing, but I don't fall.  Miss Meg across the street says that I will be walking before Easter.  The very day that she said that, Aunt Lila made the same comment and added that maybe I will be able to hunt Easter eggs too.  Ooooooh, how fun!

Who Knew?

Who knew that the day after our last post our lives would take quite a drastic turn.  The economy is in the dumpster along with mommy's job.  Lucky for me though.  Now she is home with me all the time.  I miss my friends at daycare, but I like being home with her.  I get to show her how fast I can crawl and I get to chase the cats all over the house whenever I want to.  I don't let her out of my site for one minute.  I like having mommy home.

Winter Wonderland

The weather here in Seattle was very unusual over the holidays.  There is a song that they played on the radio about Christmas in the Northwest and they sing about how we don't have white Christmases here, but instead they are reliably green...  Well, not this year!  This year we had snow, snow and more snow.  The city practically shut down the week before Christmas because of all the snow that fell and stayed on the ground.  We had about a foot of snow in our yard at one point.  This picture was taken up near Steven's pass where nearly a foot of snow fell over night.  This is the bunk house where we stayed near our friend's cabin.  That is about three feet of snow up on the roof!

Merry Christmas

It's a little late, but Merry Christmas everyone!  And thanks Santa for all the fun toys and clothes.  I had so much fun tearing the paper off of the boxes and finding out what was hidden inside.  Now that I am crawling... (yes, I started crawling on Christmas Eve) I don't have to wait for mommy and daddy to bring me a toy.  I can gather them all up myself!
